Handmade Gothic / Cyberpunk Jewelry for Neo-Victorian or Steampunk Weddings by SKAIOR
Nothing thrills me more than receiving e-mails from talented indie crafters whom I might never have otherwise discovered so today I am delighted to present to you SKAIOR Designs. Skaior creates Gothic Jewelry & Accessories for Steampunk, Neo-Victorian, and other Offbeat Weddings. Wedding themes the jewelry can be used for are Cyber, Burlesque, Rockabilly, Emo, Macabre, Vampire (er, these kinds of weddings I have yet to see), and more!
I asked the designer about the company’s background and how it came about:
I have been creative for as long as I can remember, dabbling in various forms of art over the years. I have always been partial to the Gothic aesthetic and used to make alternative garments for myself, mostly Gothic outfits, Steampunk and Neo-Victorian accessories. Last year I established SKAIOR Designs to share my creations with the world.
Skaior offers accessories that are perfect for an offbeat wedding, from steamy necklaces and dark chokers to elegant cufflinks, fascinators, and fantasy wrist cuffs.
According to SKAIOR, their cufflinks in particular are quite popular among brides and grooms.
It’s a versatile item, they can be given as a gift, worn on your wedding day or complement your clubbing or everyday outfit. The Angel Wing Cufflinks are great because they are unisex and fit various wedding themes, be it dark and Gothic, a fantasy fairy tale or modern and chic.
If you’re planning an alternative wedding and would like to see more of SKAIOR’s artistic designs, check out the showcase on their Flickr Gallery and Etsy Store or go straight to SKAIOR’s online shop. And good news, since everything is handmade, custom orders are welcome.
I love collaborating with couples, helping them bring their vision to life and making their wedding day even more special.
Thank you Skaior for sharing your lovely accessories with our readers!
