Printables: Free Pop-Out Lips and Mustache Wedding Escort Cards
Hello dear readers, I’ve got a freebie for you today!
Seeing that lips and mustaches have become quite the popular “non-traditional” wedding element (or, tell me, have they already crossed over to the traditional side of the fence?), I thought of making printable wedding escort cards featuring the ubiquitous icons with a pop-out twist added for fun.
You will need to print the place cards on thick card stock to make the lips and mustaches “stand” in position. Just cut along the solid lines and fold along the dotted lines — you know the drill.
I’ve layed out four cards — two for the mustached gents and two for the lipsticked ladies — on a sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ paper for your convenience. The PDF file is also editable: just type in the names of your guests, format the fonts, and you’re good to go. Precise instructions are printed on the file (but I’ve repeated them below for easy reference).
If you’ve got mad calligraphy skillz, you can simply delete all the text placeholders and add the guests’ names by hand.
Visit the freebie page to download our free printable lips and mustache wedding escort cards (238.56 kb)
This template is free for personal use only. Please do not offer it for sale. If you decide to use them in your wedding, do send me photos.
You will need Adobe PDF Reader (version 5 or later is fine) to open the file.
How to add your guest’s names on the place cards:
1. Using the type cursor tool, click on the space for the names.
2. Type your guest’s name.
3. Press CTRL-E to open the text formatting box.
4. Choose a font*, format the font size and style. Repeat Steps 1-4 for the rest of the cards.
5. Print!
* Please note that only the fonts installed in your system will come up in the text selection box.
The typeface I used in the sample cards happens to be my current favorite Comicraft Matinee Idol, available from MyFonts.
