Alternative Limo Idea: A Volkswagen Samba Wedding “Car”

Those of you planning retro, mod or hippie weddings in the Denver/Boulder Colorado area might want to check out the Hippie Limo, a small business started by stay-at-home dad Richard Alan Blake based around his restored 1965 Volkswagen Samba microbus.

I personally think the vintage VW Samba works as a great alternative wedding car. It presents lots of awesome photo opportunities too!

When Richard’s e-mail arrived in my inbox, I knew I had to blog about their service because obviously the idea of having a Vdub van in place of an expensive wedding limo is a wonderful, practical, and out-of-the-box idea I’d love to share with you Poptastic brides and grooms.
