Anne-Sophie & Yohann’s Lifestyle Engagement Session in Barcelona

Today we have a gorgeous and artistically photographed engagement session in Barcelona. France-based Anne-Sophie and Yohann were brought together by a shared passion for music and traveling. They fell in love with the city of Barcelona on a past excursion so they decided to have their engagement photos taken there. The apartment they stayed in was chock-full of curios and other objets d’art plus an extensive vinyl collection — which proved handy in providing an eclectic & musical lifestyle atmosphere for this music-loving pair’s e-shoot.

Isn’t this shot amazing? It’s just a taste of what French photographer Cécile Creiche can offer! Cécile has been a photographer for 3 years and she specializes in social photography, weddings especially. Based in Lyons, she travels a lot for her work because 70% of her clients actually live abroad. Cécile shares:

For someone like me who loves to travel and meet new people, it’s great!! My photographic style is instead turned to the emotions, the intense feelings that emerge in events such as weddings. I love playing with the decor, this is why I always try to find unusual places for my brides and grooms. Most of the time people find my images joyful, cheerful and full of happiness.

Loving everything so far? It’s time to meet the beautiful couple so luckily Anne-Sophie is here to share their story with us:

We met 4 years ago thanks to the internet. We weren’t meant to meet at all. We lived a hundred kilometers apart! But our love for music, and especially Sufjan Stevens, united us. And so “Asthmatic Kitty” finally met “Yops” in April 2008 in Lyon! And 3 and a half years later, “Yops” proposed to his “Asthmatic Kitty” during a magical evening in the middle of some ricefields in Bali!

Apart from music, we have another common passion: discovering cities. Two years ago, we went to Barcelona together. We fell in love with this city! And for our engagement session, we naturally decided to go back to BCN. There we rented a flat with an amazing mood and decoration and no less than amazing and kind hosts. We spent the evening wandering through their incredible vinyl records collection! And Cécile captured those moments perfectly…
