Niki & Aaron’s Hip and Happy Brooklyn Bridge Engagement
Today we have a fun engagement shoot that took place around lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. So-in-love couple Niki and Aaron were in a long distance relationship for over three years — Niki was in New York while Aaron was back home in China. They are finally getting married in September of this year and won’t have to live apart anymore. 🙂
So cute, these two! We have the talented New York-based photographer Chris Hui (whose creative work is no stranger to this blog) to thank for all the delightful photos you are seeing on this page. Here’s a few more details about this lovely twosome in Chris’ own words:
They fell in love eight years ago. They were 8,000 miles apart when his father needed him for the family business three years ago. Today, they’re engaged.
I can’t be any more enjoyable for shooting this lovely couple – Niki & Aaron. I’m in the same situation. My lovely girl is in China. I know exactly long, long distance is not the best thing in the world. They went through all the difficulties. They’re together, soulfully and physically.
I’m so honored to be the cinematographer of their wedding in Long Island. See you guys in September.
LOL not sure if the photobomber in the window’s appearance was planned but the result is hilarious!
Chris can capture both romantic and wacky, playful shots so beautifully! He shares a few more facts about this sweet duo:
Aaron’s family runs a car dealer business in Southern China while Niki is working for a bank in New York. Aaron flies to New York to visit his lovely girl twice a year.
The most difficult part for both of them is that when one needs the other, he/she is far away in a completely different time zone. Soon though they will have a fresh new start in China, together.
I’m totally in love with this artistic shot — it’s almost like a pen and ink drawing. 🙂
This one too. 🙂 Just how adorable are they?!
Thank you so much Chris for sending your wonderful images my way, and congratulations Niki and Aaron! So glad you guys will finally be together. 🙂
