Amy & Brad’s Quirky Neon-Lit American Sign Museum Wedding
Did you notice that we had an Americana themed week here on Poptastic Bride? Just to recap, on Monday we shared a Las Vegas wedding and pop culture-referencing photo session at the Neon Museum. On Tuesday we had a Kennedy-inspired wedding styled shoot. On Wednesday you saw a super awesome 4th of July DIY/backyard/BBQ wedding. Yesterday we had a spectacular retro day-after love session in Coney Island…
And now, capping off the week is a couple who totally went the nontraditional route for their party. Amy and Brad have a love for the eclectic so they chose to hold their wedding at Cincinnati’s American Sign Museum which houses over 100 years worth of American signage, from classic posters to neon signs! The result is an intimate, relaxed, and undeniably unique celebration of their love amidst family, friends, and colorful vintage neon displays.
We have Darrin Ballman Photography to thank for this unique and awesome feature! Here’s how he remembers Amy and Brad’s day:
Every now and then a wedding comes along that you just know is going to present some different opportunities…that was the case with Amy & Brad’s day at the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati. Between a relaxing afternoon with family and friends and an evening at the colourful museum, it was one big party complete with a variety of food, dessert and drink bars set up throughout the museum (thanks to Eat Well) and a great live band in Boo Radley to keep everyone moving.
Love how Amy’s neon pink and green shoes and bag match their vibrant venue!
Darrin’s beautiful photos have such striking vintage appeal! Love these shots. 🙂
This one’s totally like a scene from a classic Hollywood film!
What a fun and unique celebration! I love how laid-back and casual the celebration was, as well as how it completely reflected the quirky personalities of the twosome. Thank you Darrin for sending this delightful wedding my way, and congratulations to the Amy and Brad!
