Megan & Steve’s Black, White and Music-themed Wedding

Steve is a musician and this played a big role in their wedding. His lovely bride Megan is incredibly supportive of him so their wedding was an elegantly-funky celebration filled with rocker chic music-themed black and white details and personal touches including Steve playing live a large portion of the reception with his friends and bandmates!

Megan & Steve organized a rockin’ Minnesota wedding at the Profile Event Center in St. Paul. Complete with customized guitar picks and vinyl record decor, this couple’s love for music made their wedding shine. Megan altered and wore her mother’s dress topped off with a homemade bouquet. Steve showed his rockstar side by performing a few special tunes and included his beloved guitar in the couple’s photographs for a classic, musical touch.

I thought Natalie’s unobtrusive photographic style perfectly captured the mood of this classy rock and roll celebration. Check it out below!

Black & white is such an effortlessly chic color motif for a wedding! Don’t you just love the combination of Megan’s bridal dress (her mom’s!) and her sheer black scarf cover up? And that black bridesmaid’s dress with lace detail is divine, as is Steve’s black & white ensemble below.

Melted vinyl record “bowls” were used throughout the reception.
