Flora & Denny’s Sweet & Cozy Picnic in the Park Engagement

Today I’m excited to share this delightfully-styled picnic engagement session featuring one of the sweetest couples ever! Calgary-based Cassie Molyneux of Cassie’s Camera conceptualized and beautifully captured Flora and Denny cuddling in a hammock while they enjoyed the cutest sweet treats — Hostess snack cakes, heart-shaped sandwiches and strawberries, lemonade and soda pop — prepared and arranged by Sweet Stylings. Later on they took a stroll through the woods and took amazing portraits in an open field. I just love the cozy atmosphere of this shoot and I know you will too so enough chit chat from me… on to the eye candy!

Just how sweet are these two? We absolutely must get to know them a little better so luckily lovely Flora’s on hand with their story:

I am an accountant in an oil company and Dennis is in the field of client relationship. We met at work. I was starting a new job and there he was, funny with sunshiney smile. We caught each other’s eyes pretty quick. It was all nature and felt like we meant to be together, which I never thought would be possible since I am from China and he was born and raised in Calgary.

I like cooking and baking and all the other girly stuff. Dennis loves his video games and comics. We both love home décor and there is a lot of HGTV together time LOL!

Flora’s thoughts on their e-session:

We wanted the e-session to be relaxing and fun and asked Cassie for e-seesion suggestions. She came up with some ideas for both casual and dressy. Cassie also got Evelyn from Sweet Stylings Event Design to be our stylist. The details and setup matches our personality and created such a sweet, cozy and fun feeling for the shoot. We were a little nervous at the beginning since we never had professional photos taken, but Cassie made it so relaxing and fun. We were just being us and there was a lot laughter during the entire session.
