Brittani & Daniel’s Blue and Orange Pinetop Country Club Wedding

Brittani and Daniel wanted to share their wedding with friends and family and wanted to have it during the summer. They picked the beautiful Pinetop Country Club in Pinetop, Arizona as their location for the ceremony and reception. The bride wore a custom designed gown and their motif was a cheerful bright orange and sky blue and it was incorporated throughout their details, from Brittani’s bouquet to the bridal party’s outfits. A lot of the elements were inspired by a carving of their initials on a tree that Daniel made when they first started dating.

This feature was made possible through the talents of Brian Minson Wedding Photography and here are his beautiful images of the day, without further ado.

As mentioned earlier, Brittani’s gown was fully customised for her and we have the story from the bride’s mom:

It was a custom design we purchased through a bridal boutique in Guthrie, OK called Savvy Couture Bridal. We started with a basic gown from Eden Bridal and then completely revamped it according to the picture Brittani had in her head.

Let’s get to know the couple a little better. Here’s the pretty bride Brittani with the deets of how they got together:

Daniel and I met each other in July of 2008 at the skate park in my home town of Springerville, Arizona. He is from St. Johns, Arizona (our towns are rivals). We were friends for a little over a year and on September 9, 2009 he asked me to be his girlfriend. The majority of our relationship was long distance..we were going to schools in different places so our relationship consisted of text messaging, Skype and visits on breaks or occasional weekends. On July 21, 2011 he asked me to marry him and of course I said yes 🙂 and that is when all the wedding planning started!!

From this point on I will let Brittani tell you all about their wedding and how they personalized it:

The general idea of our wedding was “natural elements meet elegance.” In May of 2011 Daniel and I had carved out initials into a tree in the mountains near our home and that is where we got most of our inspiration. Our centerpieces were aspen stumps with branches sticking out of them.

Our cake was a tree with our initials in it and some of the other stumps had our initials carved in them as well. We wanted our wedding to be something that was personal to us and that had meaning (besides us saying I do and starting our life together). For our guestbook, we had a coworker paint a tree and the guests placed there fingerprints on the tree and leaves.

We placed pieces of paper and pens on the tables for guests to write their wishes for us and the guests were asked to hang them on the tree centerpieces. My cousin’s husband made our wedding signs to get to the wedding out of pine. Our ring bearer pillow was actually my late grandpa’s Bible so that was extra special.

We wrote our own vows and did the unity sand instead of the unity candle. Our ringbearer pillow, decorations, and guestbook were unique details as well.We took great thought and added great detail to our wedding for guests to feel comfortable but for our wedding to be meaningful as well.
