Codruta & Daniel’s Adriatic Dream: An Ethereal Love Session in Croatia

Today I am thrilled to present another stunning narrative e-session from Adina and Radu Postatny of David Postatny Photography, the husband and wife photo team that brought us the Cinematic Love, Crime, and Passion E-session in Romania that I featured here a couple of months back!

The title for this love shoot is “Adriatic Dream” and it features lovebirds Codruta and Daniel dramatizing a fairytale-like — and, may I add, sizzling hot! — love affair between a goddess and a common man. I think it would be best if I let Adina & Radu tell us the back story of the shoot themselves:

We met Codruta and Daniel almost a year before their wedding and we had some experimental and successful photo sessions before this so working with them was a pleasure. The camera loves Codru?a and she loves to pose and play. Daniel enjoyed role playing and managed to fit into the story. They are both wedding planners and they wanted a different kind of photo session, something unique and spectacular. They also try to motivate their clients to choose this kind of photography. They found out we love Croatia and we told them a lot of stories about beautiful places there so in August 2011, they called us. A few days later we found ourselves on our way to Croatia!

We prefer Central Dalmatia and small towns so we established our headquarters in Jezera, Murter Island. We’ve known this place for seven years already.

The story came… simple and clear. We visited places and started to see the fairytale: a goddess falls in love with a man, losing her immortality to experience real love. They spend time together but lose each other in the night. She searches for him but the storm throws her away to an island. He manage to find and save her… and they live happily ever after.

Adina and Radu have a few more words to say about the locations they chose:

We took photos at Krka National Park, Jezera (Murter Island), Vodice, Split (Diocletian Palace) and we recommend for everybody to visit these locations! Croatia is undiscovered entirely. It was not a popular holiday destination until now. This country is unique: full of history, full of legends, full of music, filled with magic and mystery. Sometimes it’s enough just to travel there and you start to imagine stories about those places. It’s an amazing feeling. Adriatic Dream came to us this way. For sure, we will return there every year to fill up our batteries.

Huge thanks to Adina and Radu for sending this insanely gorgeous love shoot my way, and congratulations to Codruta and Daniel! 🙂
