Winter Masquerade: A Styled Wedding Inspiration Shoot

Before winter paves the way for spring (for those of you in the northern hemisphere, that is), I want to show you a gorgeous, dreamily mysterious masquerade wedding inspiration shoot set in the snow covered woods of Spokane, WA. The models, Mariah and Kyle are also a real-life couple so the sparks are undeniable even amidst the ice. I’d rather that Alisha Southard of Haute Pink Photography describe this shoot to you as she is the brainchild of this whimsical styled shoot as well as the photographer behind the amazing images:

Ever since I started my venture into the career of being a wedding photographer I have dreamed of a particular wedding… I have hunted, wished, hoped and dreamed for a couple that would create the wedding I have envisioned. This wedding is like my pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Always searching for it but never found. Until now.

Instead of waiting for fate to happen and standing by wishing year after year I decided to create my own magic.

As soon as I decided that I was going to set something like this up, I contacted Mariah. She is amazing and GORGEOUS. She would be my muse. She said she had a boyfriend that she would love to use as our groom. PERFECT. Nothing beats real chemistry. Mariah works part time at Storybook Bridal and sent me a picture of the dress she had in mind. It was perfect too. I contacted Frosted Magic who is a newer cake company in Spokane. She did an amazing job. I gave her the theme and she ran with it. Finally but certainly not last I knew who I wanted to do the flowers. Erica’s Expressions. With these AMAZING vendors I had my team.

Everyone made my shoot come to life. It really was my dream come true.
