Cute Striped Dresses & Shoes for Your Bridal Party

If you’ve been following style blogs, you already know by now that stripes are HOT this season. I’m seeing it all over Pinterest these days and I may or may not have spent the past weekend digging through my bedroom closet at my parents’ home for decade old striped clothing items that (fortunately) still fit me. Thank goodness they’re back in style and luckily moths haven’t got to them yet.

But I digress. While this blog is never really one to follow trends, I can’t deny that stripes are always fun, chic, and – depending on the size of the stripes — figure flattering. (Yes you read that right. Studies have actually shown that horizontal stripes are slimming, not widening.) Most of the dresses I picked are sleeveless because, as bridal party wear, they can easily be unified with a solid-hued cardigan or stole in your color motif. (See my post on How to Mix and Match Dresses for a Mismatched Bridal Party Look)
