Tristin & Dustin’s Fun and Funky White Wedding in the Desert
Lovely couple Tristin and Dustin wore matching crisp, all-white (with some bright pink thrown in) outfits and got married in a simple ceremony in the sprawling deserts of Northern Arizona. It was a cozy, laid-back affair with a few modern vintage DIY touches here and there, but what made it extra special was that it totally oozed with the couple’s fun-loving personalities. As brilliant photographers JoAnn and Jason Marino of Imagine Photography put it, “it must have been the most unique processional and recessional we’ve seen! There were leaping high-fives, there was air-boxing, chest bumping, dancing, and even a bit of leap-frog at the end!”
You already know that I’m a huge fan of JoAnn & Jason’s photography (see their previously featured work + BTL interview) so when I saw the stunning sneak peek of this fun wedding pop up on FB, I asked right away if I could pretty please share it here with all of you. Luckily they said yes, and now here they are for you to enjoy.
How gorgeous are these portraits of them? I also want you to meet pretty Tristin who’s here to share a condensed version of their love story:
Dustin and I met each other playing softball. I remember being on the winning team and of course he remembers the opposite. Anyways, a year later we started hanging out. Nine short months after he popped the question
That leapfrog is one of the most awesome things I’ve seen! Here’s Tristin with a recap of what went on that day + a few details that made their wedding their own.
Our wedding was a vintage laid-back wedding. We handed out mason jars painted with chalkboard paint to our guests and our bridal party, had unique hot pink solo cup wine glasses (that we decided to make the night before). Prior to the ceremony the guys had little handshakes that were seen in the back row. And, at the end of the ceremony my new husband leap frogged over me for our grand exit.
And here are words of advice from the couple:
Start early and don’t stress. Yes I said DON’T STRESS. If you learn to shake off all the minor mishaps your day will go more smoothly.
Huge thanks to JoAnne and Jason for sharing their gorgeous images with us, and congratulations to Tristin and Dustin! Wishing you a lifetime of married bliss!
