Tami & John’s Modern Art Deco-themed Rooftop Wedding
Happy Friday! What could be more perfect than sealing your love among just the closest of family and friends on a rooftop, and then celebrating on a bright and breezy summer afternoon at that? That’s exactly what Tami and John did and here’s Shanti Duprez of Portrait Design by Shanti to tell us more about it:
Tami and John were married onto of the rooftop of Hotel Vitale which is in the heart of the Embarcadero of San Francisco. Tami and John have a unique style that is both modern and classy from the custom made bridal bouquet to her vintage dress and his Converse shoes, the whole wedding was an intimate and beautiful day that showcased their edgy style.
The lovely Tami is here to tell us a bit about the two of them and their wedding:
John and I met on Eharmony. I’m from Fresno he’s from the Bay Area. We’ve got two dogs and 2 cats so just work and pets take up most of our time. We definitely enjoy taking them out and we live in Pacifica so there are tons of trails to take them on.
Originally I wanted to do a 20’s gangster / flapper themed-wedding and that transitioned into an Art Deco style with a modern industrial twist with it being held on the terraces of Hotel Vitale .
Some advice from the bride:
To be honest I made a ton of things for the wedding and the only thing I ended up using was my bouquet. My advice is to keep it simple and HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER! Lol.
Thank you Shanti for sending this lovely wedding my way, and congratulations Tami and John! I wish you guys a happy forever. 🙂
