Sherry & David’s Chic and Cozy Brooklyn Restaurant Wedding
If beautiful couple Sherry and Dave in the photo above seem familiar to you, that’s because you’ve seen their sweet, sun-kissed e-session in DUMBO on this blog a few months back. With their Brooklyn theme intact, their just-as-gorgeous wedding and reception was held in the iCi French Kitchen. The twosome also had a sweet first look and later had portraits taken at Cobble Hill. The reception venue was tastefully decorated with a chic minimalist look which suited the stylish couple to a T. Keeping the gathering small was important to them and the result, as you’ll see, was a classy and intimate celebration spent with the closest of family and friends.
Sherry and Dave’s picture-perfect love was captured beautifully in dreamy, soft-lit images by Jacquie Lew of Photo Philosophies (who also photographed their e-session). Please enjoy.
You already met Sherry and Dave through their DUMBO e-session that was featured here a while ago. Here now is a little bit about their wedding, in the lovely Sherry’s own words:
We didn’t have a theme though looking back, I’m seeing elements of both classic and vintage in décor and dress. It was a small wedding. It was very important to us to have our immediate family and close friends with us as we took the next step together.
Some advice from the newlyweds:
1.Remember to take time to occasionally take a breathe and appreciate the oftentimes stressful and hectic days leading up to the wedding because you will someday look back on that time as a very special period in your lives.
2.There is no one size fits all. David and I followed our hearts and we had an exceptionally magical evening.
Huge thanks Jacquie for sending your stunning images my way, and congratulations Sherry and David! I wish you guys a lifetime of married bliss. 🙂
