Regina & Camron’s Romantic Mountaintop Wedding & Chic White Party
Regina and Camron had an epic 2-day celebration all dedicated to sharing their love, creating memories, and incorporating details that represented who the two of them are as a partnership. They got married on the Keystone mountaintop and had stunning portraits taken with the glorious Colorado mountains in the background. Wedding day # 2 was a White Party in a chic hotel in the city to commemorate the day they had their first kiss 5 years ago.
We have Poptastic Bride faves Sara and Jason Marin of Concept Photography (see their previously featured work + BTL interview) to thank for the gorgeous images. Here’s what they had to say about the event:
Gina + Camron decided to go against the grain for their wedding weekend (you know we love that!) They started with a gorgeous mountain-top ceremony at the Aspenglow Stube in Keystone, CO for family and close friends. It led immediately into an 8 course gourmet dinner. The next day, everyone traveled to the ultra-hip and modern Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver for a White Party (Gina came out in a fabulous hot pink party dress!). Finally, we met up with couple the following morning for a rock the party dress session all around downtown Denver – it was awesome!
The beautiful bride is here with their love story:
This is our story as told by Gina…as Camron watches football We met our sophomore year in college at UNC (University of Northern Colorado); although did not start dating until many years later. After graduation Camron moved to the mountains to enjoy skiing while studying for law school (which he later decided against) and I went to work for an engineering company that I interned at during my under grad studies. A couple years later, Camron would move to Palm Springs to manage a private golf resort and I was relocated to New York City for work.
During a weekend trip home in 2008, Camron and I both attended a BBQ at a friends house (thank you Dylan and Laura) where we reconnected and spent much of the party catching up on the last few years. A couple weekends later we saw each other again and it was then that Camron and I realized that we were both moving back home and would hopefully see much more of one another.
In August of 2008, I hosted an annual White Party – a time to celebrate the end of Summer with friends and family and it was there that Camron and I would share our first kiss.
How he proposed:
On December 2, 2011 Camron and I were engaged! Camron really stepped up the romance from our first date when he asked me to marry him. We were in Palm Springs with friends where Camron had managed a golf resort years prior and knew it would be the perfect setting. It was nearly sunset and we were riding around on the golf cart touring his old “stomping ground”. We parked our cart and made the short walk to the top of a hill with breathtaking views of the sunset and sounds of a water fall in the background. He didn’t give me much time to think about what we were doing up there and with the sunset in front of us, he took my hand, got on one knee, and with nerves in his voice asked me to be his wife and share his future…..I think we all know I said YES!
Regina, on their wedding + how they made it their own:
Day 1 – our Ceremony
We got married in Keystone, CO on Friday, August 16th. Our guest enjoyed a breathtaking private gondola ride to the very top of Keystone Mountain where they were escorted to the Alpenglow Stube; the highest AAA Four-Diamond™ restaurant in North America (11,444 feet). This location was chosen for its significant meaning, as it has been the annual destination for our anniversary, and captures the majestic beauty of Colorado (both natives to CO).
We chose August 16th, as it’s the date that we shared our 1st kiss, exactly 5 years earlier.
Our ceremony was small and we dined on a 7 course meal where in-between courses, we personally toasted, thanked, and shared a story with every guest of the role they play in our life and relationship (everyone was in tears and couldn’t believe we spoke to everyone).
My gown was Vera Wang and my hair stylist was Karen Mills of Salon Cosabella. You already know my fav photogs!
Our White Party
Day 2 theme was WHITE, love, laughter, and creating new memories! We had a live band, photo booth, candy bar, nacho bar, cigar bar, 3 open bars, dancing, laughing, awesome friends and most importantly EVERYONE was in 100% WHITE from head to ankle! Even our venue “The Curtis Hotel Denver” was all white. Why all white…..it was at a White Party 5 years earlier that Camron and I shared our first kiss and so we could not think of a more appropriate way to celebrate.
My party dress was made by Allure and my hair stylist was Leslee Combs of Salon Cosabella
Huge thanks as always to Sara and Jason for sending their beautiful photos my way, and congratulations Regina and Camron! I wish you guys a lifetime of married bliss!
