Liz & Kevin’s Sweet and Playful E-session at the Bottom of the World
Today’s featured e-session was shot down under… Not Australia — waaaay, way down under. As in Antarctica, the continent at the bottom of the world. The coldest, windiest place on earth — possibly the last place you would expect to find love, but as fate would have it, it’s where lovebirds Liz and Kevin found each other. Pure awesomeness, right? Together, they have since traversed the world but it was only natural for them to go back and get some memorable photos in the very special place where it all began.
And today we’ll get to see their super fun e-session through these lovely images by Gwen Shoemaker Photography. Enjoy!
Just how cute are they? You get to meet them too! Here’s the lovely couple with the story of how they got together:
We met while scrubbing toilets in Antarctica. We individually took gigs as janitors for the sake of adventure and after spending a few months as each other’s wingmen at the bottom of the world, we fell in love. Together we have roamed all around the world, giggling the whole way. Our interests include being outside, cooking food, and our cat named Corn.
About their e-session:
Antarctica was so paramount to us finding one another that it made sense to do this session here. Neither of us expected to find our person, and yet in the most empty, lifeless place on the planet we found love. It was important to us that our photographer was a good friend who also had Antarctica in her blood and could take photos of us that were authentic and natural. We were both nervous to be in front of the camera but Gwen made it so much fun and captured us as we really are. She has a natural gift and we’re thrilled to be working with such a talented photographer at our upcoming wedding!
Huge thanks Gwen for sending your beautiful images my way, and congratulations on your engagement Liz and Kevin! Happy wedding planning. 🙂
