Angie & Casey’s Edgy, Sexy, and Dramatic Harley Engagement Session
Welcome to another week of non-traditional wedding inspiration. 🙂
Normally, a forecast of cloudy skies and stormy weather will turn away anyone gearing up for a photo shoot but this was obviously not the case for Angie and Casey and their photographers, Poptastic Bride regulars and faves JoAnne & Jason Marino of Imagine Photography. In fact, the dark skies provided a dramatic backdrop and even amped up the sexiness and edgy glamour in their motorbiking e-session as evidenced by the stunning photos below. Enjoy!
Abuot the couple in the lovely Angie’s own words:
We met on March 23rd, 2013, got engaged May 17th, 2015, and we will vow “forever together” in spring of 2015. We met unexpectedly, as Casey was actually set up with another girl the day we met. Everything happens for a reason and we could not be happier with the way things turned out; we are so excited for what our future has in store for us as a soon-to-be married couple. We enjoy doing CrossFit together, and at times can be a bit competitive with each other (all out of love of course). We also enjoy hiking and spending time with our families.
Angie and Casey on their e-session:
We had many comments from close friends and family saying that “the shoot was so you guys.” Despite the Sunday afternoon and 90% chance of rain that day, we thought “ehhh we will make the best of it” and that we did!
We got amazing photos to look back on and remember this exciting time of our life, planning a future together. Not many couples think of getting engagement photos while riding a Harley, but that is us. We love riding together and being spontaneous. Jason and Joanne did such an amazing job at capturing us doing what we enjoy!
When it started raining we didn’t run for cover, we made the best of it, while Jason and Joanne snapped away — capturing those moments of happiness — as we laughed and cracked jokes to each other in the rain. We went in a little nervous of being in front of camera with people we had only briefly met, but after about 10 minutes Jason and Joanne made us feel so comfortable. They made the afternoon such a fun experience for us (neither of us expected to have as much fun as we did), and I feel that was such a huge part of us being able to get the great photos. Jason and Joanne making us feel comfortable allowed us to brush off that nervousness and “just be us,” and that is exactly what they captured.?
Huge thanks as always to JoAnne and Jason for sending their gorgeous images my way, and congratulations Angie and Casey! I wish you a happy life together 🙂
