Dear photographers and couples,

One of the most-read-and-awaited posts on Poptastic Bride are the real wedding features where I highlight awesome, out-of-the-box weddings (as well as engagement and styled shoots) brimming with personality and creative inspiration. These also serve as a showcase for wedding photographers because I do not scrimp on the photos — I make sure to post everything that will show your photographic style and range.

What I look for (the submissions must meet at least one of the following criteria):
* Shiny, happy, and meaningful celebrations that don’t necessarily follow the dictates of tradition.
* Weddings with DIY, creative, whimsical, funky, and/or quirky elements that reflect the couple’s personalities.
* Ceremonies or receptions in unusual venues / wedding locations not limited to hotels or gardens.
* A bride and groom’s happiness and deep love for one another captured in the photos in a natural, genuine way.
** It doesn’t apply to all but I’m partial to weddings sans the big budget trappings.
** Again, it’s not necessarily a requirement but I’m particularly fond of photos that showcase a relaxed and unobtrusive photojournalistic style.

Important: Before submitting, please make sure that the couple is willing to be interviewed and featured. If you’re a bride or groom, please contact your photographer first to see if he/she hasn’t submitted your wedding elsewhere to avoid the overlapping of features on different publications.

A few guidelines:
1. Because I want to share only the freshest ideas, I prefer to share weddings from within the last 12 months (but if you have an older unpublished one that you think I’ll like, please go ahead and show me the pics!)
2. For the same reason, I will only publish weddings that have not been featured on a wedding blog.
3. Kindly submit non-watermarked images. Don’t worry because credit will always be given where it’s due!

How to submit:
You can fill up the form below or you can submit the entire package to me directly using Two Bright Lights. Please remember to include the important stuff: bride & groom’s names, wedding date and venue/s, and vendor credits. Don’t forget to tell me what makes the wedding non-cookie cutter and why you feel it’s a good fit for Poptastic Bride.
