A Hippie Chic 70s Wedding Styled Shoot

Live View Studios sent me this colorful 70s-themed wedding styled shoot, complete with yarn pom poms and fun retro pop culture elements like Beatles and Beach Boys lps, vinyl record placemats, a Twister game, guitars, a harmonica and a tambourine, a vintage Rolls Royce, and a Polaroid camera. Now tell me why would I not want to share something this groovy?

The shoot also features the uber-cute Mandy and Brandon, a real-life couple who totally rocked the hippie chic look. Brandon is really in the army so he donned his class A uniform. Side by side with Mandy in a darling vintage tea-length wedding dress and lacy headband, they totally give off a 70s vibe.

*cue music* War is over, if you want it (sing with me now) 😉

70s style Wedding Shoot

Photographers Brent and Anna Deitrich of Live View gives us the skinny:

It all began when we spotted the lovely handmade wedding dress from the 70s on Craigslist. We purchased it, and it fit Mandy like it was made for her. Our event planner and all of the people involved worked to bring this shoot to life with bold, fun colors, records (they even served as placemats), a Twister game (which was created in 1966), and several musical instruments. This fit the couple so perfectly, as Brandon is a self-described hippie and he and Mandy at one time played and recorded music together. With Brandon being in the military, he and Mandy had eloped some time back so we were all thrilled to give them both a bit of the wedding experience.
