Certified Poptastic! 2: Cool Finds + Sneak Peek

First post for 2012, yahoo! Have you listed down your resolutions yet? ūüôā

One of my resolutions is to post whenever I can so here I am with another edition of Certified Poptastic where I ramble and rave about interesting wedding stuff I’ve come across around the blogosphere or in real life.

1. Start the year right with this fun 2012 Mustache Calendar by Two Pooch Paperie, found via Colour Lovers. Follow the link to see a selection of stylish print calendars that you can buy from Etsy or download and print.

retro bridal headbands

2. I’m totally digging this hot trend – bridal headbands adorned with a big fabric flower or ribbon. I found these lovely images on French wedding photographer Pauline Photography‘s blog.

short bridal dresses from ModCloth

3. How cute are these short dresses from ModCloth? I love that they can double as a bridal dress for relaxed, cozy wedding celebrations.  Pictured are All for the Love of Dress (left) and Clair de Lune (right).

4. If you’ve got legs as long and flawless as Mizuki Alisa‘s, here’s a rather interesting take on the mini wedding dress — it’s long and ruffly at the back and short in front. Will you wear it? I took this screenshot from episode 1 of the Summer 2011 Japanese TV series Hanawake no Yon Shimai. Clearer photos of this wedding dress are here.

5. Calgary by Bon Iver:  beautiful atmospheric song, captivating video. Lyrics are here in case you want to consider it for your wedding.

shrugs for winter weddings

6. Stunning boleros and shrugs by BHLDN. Perfect for winter weddings and holiday parties.

I’ve received some wonderful real wedding and inspirational e-session photos which I honestly can’t wait to share with you! Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store in the next few days.
